Prime Technical Coatings is a certified applicator of architectual fluoropolymer powders with successful 4000 hour salt spray test results. We apply a variety of powder polymers including TGIC polyesters, AAMA 2604 super durables and architectual fluoropolymers meeting AAMA 2605-05 performance testing requirements for salt spray, adhesion, hardness, gloss, and color retention for a broad spectrum of applications to serve the military, marine, aviation, automotive, outdoor furniture, architectural, and construction industries.

We batch process all orders in a convection oven giving us large part and volume capacity. To ensure quality our standard powder coating procedures incorporate a 5 or 7-step chemical pretreatment process followed by a batch powder application and curing in a large gas convection oven. The preparation process includes media blasting if needed, phosphoric acid etch, a chemical film conversion and deionized water rinse that provides extra bite for adhesion and increased corrosion protection.
